Although we are saying Summer School bookings should be received by 17 th May, places for the school are likely to be oversubscribed and therefore will be made on the basis of who is first with payment. You may book for the whole school (£90) or just for either or both of the days (£25 per day) or just for the Tuesday evening (£20). If you would like to stay overnight on the Monday night that will be an extra £25. Some of the sessions are open ended but others are limited in numbers. If you indicate that you want to participate in any of the limited number sessions and these are full, you will be contacted to check if you want to continue or withdraw from the school.
Cancellation with full refund can be made up to and including Monday 10th June. Substitution may be possible after that date.
Accommodation will be allocated to the Student Village Lodges (see campus map) then to the Boyd Hall of Residence in the Conference Centre. Every attempt will be made to accommodate people in the same house as friends but this cannot be guaranteed. The earliest arrivals will be given first choice. All rooms are single, en-suite. Those in the lodges are ground floor, the others are upstairs. Please note: Towels are not provided.
Bedroom accommodation is available from 13.00 hrs on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 09.30 hrs on the day of departure. Storage for bags will be arranged.
Tea and coffee is included in the school package, as is dinner on Tuesday evening (main course, dessert & tea/coffee) but you are asked to pay individually for your breakfast and lunches in the Manor Restaurant. The lodges each have a kitchen with facilities. Snacks and a limited selection of drinks can be purchased in the Cyber café. Drinks will be provided in the pre-dinner reception only, so you may want to bring your own for later.
For those who wish to stay on Monday night, no catering will be available that evening and no breakfast on Tuesday morning. However there are catering facilities in the lodges and tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits will be provided. You may want to bring your own snacks.
